According to the Public Relations Department of Urmia, Mohammad Hazratpour, Mayor of Urmia, issued a message about chemical bombardment of Sardasht,

 The text includes:

 The 28 July is the true symbol of American human rights, with its absurd claims in favor of innocent people in the international community, and they were dumb about the human history crimes. They supported and equipped criminal Basi regime of Saddam and ,by delivering various type of chemical bombes to Iraqi regime admire them to continue using those bombs.

The 28 July and chemical bombardment of Sardasht and oppressed&defendless people is a wound that never will be obsolete over the time, and whenever the sounds of hack which caused by bitter bombing heard from corner of this land, call on every free man to fight against unmerciful peoples.

These issues also invite the right human organizations and international courts to condemn the factories and chemical armory of west countries and supported government.

 In honor of the memory of the martyrs of this catastrophe and celebrating the resistance of the injured people, I hope that this day will become a symbol for condemning the similar acts and preventing them from repeating on the international scene.
